Without technology there’s no revolution , do people in the romans would expect technology ? Clearly, No. We humans should think outside of the box what would be the main thing in the future ? Probably fire bending, air bending or slowly become robo tech. I believe in order to survive, we need technology to tackle our problems such as hunger, polluted waters and so on. And yes, too much technology will make us humans better in a way!

Now let’s see the other side of the coin, what do you think too much technology is doing to the society like are we really getting closer or we are going away from each other. Our generation’s extensive use of smartphones is a bit of concern, don’t you think ?

Did you ever wondered that we are going away from each other if we think about the real togetherness ?

One of the ways I think to get this real togetherness is through nature. Regardless of your age or social strata, everyone becomes equal before nature, as we each let go personal thoughts to loosen as we live through the relaxing feel of nature. When we witness a marvel of nature we think of the interdependence of all life.

Let me tell you something, when I was young my grandfather would take me up into the mountains for a weekend to a week or even more during the summer. We borrowed the cabin from a friend whom my grandfather and I also worked for during summers to help take care of his herd of cattle.

We used oil wick lamps, wood fires. There was an electric refrigerator, but it was locked up to keep raccoons out, so we brought our own food and coolers and used a lot of dry or canned foods.

Even after my grandfather’s death, I went to my own mountains, and although I am required to keep a work cellphone with me, I am not required to avoid cellphone dead areas. so I chose valleys completely isolated from cellphone signals to camp in. For one weekend, maybe as long as 72 hours even, I would disappear into the forest, cook my own food over fires, sleep in a tent and escape from the world for a few days. I called it “battery recharging” since stress and politics often took so much out of me.

It was beautiful, honest, quiet. You wake up with no set times, and you can just listen to the robin hopping about your tent. The mockingbird singing in the trees overhead. It’s nice, it’s relaxing, and certainly charges up over-stressed human batteries.

Natural environment is not the only way for bringing people together. Other activities and place like sports events, concerts and cultural events can also bring in the similar feel of real togetherness.
