Abhay, a ZEE5 original thriller web series marks the digital debut of Kunal kemmu. The story revolves around officer Abhay, a Special Task Force officer with the mind of a criminal. The first season with eight episodes was released in 2019. Featuring a top class cast and an exciting story line, it received a lot of love and appreciation from the viewers.

With season 2, Abhay Pratap Singh is back, testing his limits again trying to tackle more challenging crime cases. He still follows his own justice system and serves justice in his own way. Ram Kapoor will be seen playing the antagonist in this season.

This series also features well-known bollywood actor Chunky pandey, who is also making his digital debut.

“This was an exciting role for me, it is my digital debut too and I have never played anything like it. My character is a normal looking guy, but not when it comes to finding ways to feed his cannibal instinct. Looks can be deceptive indeed!,” Chunky Pandey said in a statement.

This series follows the inverted detective format of storytelling. The series is inspired by real crime stories where the detective protagonist Abhay has to deal with serial killers and criminal minds. With season 2, cases will get psychological and dark showing the depths of humankind and how the society is infested with sociopaths and psychopaths.

Ken Ghosh did an excellent job in the direction department making Season even more grander than the first installment. Editor Mukesh Thakur and Cinematographer Hari K. Vedantam complimented the director in their own way in making the series a memorable watching experience.

First three episodes of Abhay season 2 were released on ZEE5 on the eve of Independence Day. With five more episodes on the way, the next three episodes will air on September 4.
