How many times has it been that your heart has been confused between two people that you love? I guess all of us at one point in our lives have been in a situation where we are unable to decide whether or not we have feelings for a particular person. Our heart wants something else, and our mind is somewhere else. So, what will we do when we are in such a situation?
‘Manmarziyaan’ is an Indian modern-day romantic-comedy-drama love triangle film directed by Anurag Kashyap and written by Kanika Dhillon. It stars Abhishek Bachchan, Tapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal in the lead roles. The film is jointly produced by Phantom Films and Anand L. Rai’s Colour Yellow Productions. It is a love story set in Amritsar, Punjab and was released on 14th September 2018.
Rumi (Tapsee Pannu), a young woman, is in love with Vicky (Vicky Kaushal), a part-time DJ. Both of them are pressured to get married when one day Rumi’s family catches them. But, as Vicky gets cold feet about the marriage, Rumi ends up marrying Robbie (Abhishek Bachchan). Does the question now arise that whether Rumi will stay in the marriage with Robbie or go back to her love, Vicky? 
The film is a must-watch for the young generation, especially as it shows the dilemma that a person faces when he/she has to choose between two people. All the actors have given great performances in portraying their characters. When we see the film, we can connect with each of them in our ways. They’ve provided a platform for our emotions. The music is given by Amit Trivedi, which is beautifully written. The cinematography is done by Sylvester Fonseca which captures the scenic beauty of Punjab.
In our lives, sometimes we are faced with the situation of choosing between two people. This makes us consider all the aspects that are there about a person and whether he/she is right for us or not. In times like these, it is always best to listen to your heart. If your heart is sure of a person, then whether there are ups or downs in your life, you’ll always be able to overcome them together; But if your heart is not sure, then there’ll always be a doubt within yourself about that person. In the end, it is always what your heart desires. You can have a lot of choices to choose from, but if your heart is not okay with it, then you’ll always be in a dilemma. Therefore, make choices with your heart, and everything will be fine.
