Man with a plan: The laughter dose you need to lift the heat off this summer

Life is precious, peaceful and endearing, providing you with beautiful people and beautiful instances throughout. Life is a journey we do not get a re-do at. Life is precious and we should appreciate all the things and moments while we have it, and blah blah blah, the monologue goes on. But there is no denying to the fact that life too, sometimes is too much, and not always in the good hyped up way. It takes you all the way high up to the pedestal, and then kicks you at all the right places in all the right ways, sending you tumbling down.

But let’s keep our moralities at bay for once and be utterly, unabashedly and blatantly honest. Who does not find comfort in discovering that they are not the only ones whom life has challenged? Isn’t it a “Thank Goodness am not the only one” moment when you find out your next door neighbor, or your high school best friend, or your nosy colleague falls short off the smooth road. Well, life is not perfect and we all endure its blows every once in while. But after seeing the perfect setups in soap operas and being bored to death, Jackie and Jeff Filgo present to the audience the imperfect individuals with imperfects lives, exactly what was the need of the hour.An American sitcom series “Man with a Plan” was premiered on CBS on October 24, 2016, and surrounds the storyline of Adam Burns played by none other than our favorite Matt LeBlanc, yes, Joey Tribbiani, who stole our hearts right from the days of F.R.I.E.N.D.S., still carrying the same charm and youthfulness even with grey-silver hair. The story is of Adam Burns married to Andi Burns played by Liza Snyder, the sweet and sour wife and their day to day humorous struggle and complications in raising three modern era kids.

If you decorate your future with the idea of kids in it, those little humans you create yourself who are half you and half the person you love, well, wait till you see the hilarious struggle of the Burns’ family. The three little kids Kate Burns (Grace Kaufman) the eldest and the mischievous, Teddy Burns (Matthew McCann) the dimwit middle child, and Emme Burns (Hala Finley) the youngest but brainy often hold the upper hand over their parents, but only until parents find a new way to outwit them and then lose it again to the smart-witted kids. And the situation is as accurate as Adam describes

“When we were kids, our parents had the power. But now that we are parents, the kids have the power. We’ve never had the power”

And then there is Kevin Nealon playing Don Burns, the elder brother of Adam, who always has the right ideas to get into trouble with wives and mess up every situation. And on top of that, Adam who is in his late forties still fears his “too much intervening into personal space” and stern looking army dad Joe Burns (Stacy Keach), who rules over everybody in the family with an iron fist. The other characters Swoosie Kurtz playing Beverly Burns, Adam and Don’s mother, Kali Rocha playing Don’s wife Marcy and Matt Cook as Lowell who considers Adam his hero, also do not forget to spread a smile across your faces. The crazy family arguments, the fun-loving moments, the mid-life crisis, the “why did we want kids in the first place” and rolling the eyes over overprotective parents moments, the mishaps, the mischievousness, the monetary budget issues, and the children’s first date moments, you name it, and it has been screened for you. A perfect family pack drama “Man with a Plan” is filled with laughter and gags to leave you roflinng because in life, none of the plans workout as planned.
